Tomlinson Tree Surgeons have been managing commercial tree concerns since 1976.  We have developed procedures that cut down planning and application time, reduce cost and time on site, and increase the long term value of the work. From planting, formative pruning, cyclical maintenance, to disease control and safety, we are applying the latest knowledge and techniques.

Tomlinsons Tree Surgeons are approved contractors by the Arboricultural Association and accredited with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Our client care system tracks enquiries from initial contact, through project management, to after-care service. If your trees need periodic attention we will contact you to arrange a review.

At your site visit we assess: specification, access, permission, parking, risk and duty of care. We automatically check if your site is in a Conservation Area (CA) or if there are Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) in place. All applications to the Local Authority for planning and parking, are filed electronically, shortening the lead time for you work.

Health and Safety underpins our service. Risk Assessments are always site specific and a Method Statement can be supplied on request.

Our specifications balance the future cost of tree liabilities against the cost of immediate work.

Our office is open between 9 and 5.30. Your call will be answered by staff with years of experience with tree care, and we aim to handle any query within the working day.

We have a process which is comprehensive we can address requirements of you Duty of Care.

Permissions for trees in Conservation Areas ( CA) and trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) can be obtained. Applications to Local Authorities can be filed electronically.

Access and Parking arrangements will be organised.

Managements plans can be drawn up and maintained to aid with your Duty of Care and budgeting

The Arboricultural Association have accredited us as approved contractors. QAS International has awarded us ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
